We are having an extra local business meeting this Sunday straight after meeting for worship before refreshments.
It has two items on the agenda and it should not take up a lot of your time.
We are hoping that Horsham Friends will be able to approve the 2024 accounts.
They need to be submitted to our Area Meeting so that they, in turn, can forward all the local meeting accounts to the Charity Commission.
Our second point of agenda is what action we could take regarding the recent disappearances of two rainbow flags.
We displayed them inside a notice board in the meeting house front garden to let people know we welcome anyone who belongs to the LGBTQI+ community to our Quaker meetings.
They have been removed on two occasions, we do not know by whom or why.
